Exciting things continue happening!  I have been selected as The New Author of the Year.

As I continue touring the nation speaking in schools, colleges, and corporations, I remain inspired by the people that I meet and their sincere desire to connect.  From young readers to seniors, people across generations, cultures and faith remain interested in the message of my work.

The largest African American women’s book club in America, The Go On Girl Book Club, selected me as the New Author of the year, and I will receive this wonderful of honor tomorrow at the national convention.  What a gratifying experience.
